Manubri Table, 2015
by Secondome
Design Miami/ (yes, the slash is intentional) is a global forum for contemporary design, bringing together today's hottest collectors, gallerists, designers and curators, in celebration of design culture and commerce. This year it will run from December 2 - 6.
Every year a different early-career architect is commissioned to create the entry pavillion. This year, the project was awarded to "the most fledgling designers possible", a group of five students from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
The structure, comprising a fragmented canopy made with 200 unique, pink-foam architectural models perched atop a metal grid, is called UNBUILT.
Below are but a few of the splashy decorative items that will be shown in Miami.
